Account information. When you register, we collect your first name, last name, and email address. We store a hashed version of your password — we never store your password in plain text and cannot view it.
Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVC on our servers. We retain only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status for account management.
Usage data. We collect basic usage information such as which pages you visit, which lawsuit categories you subscribe to, and alert delivery records. We use this data solely to operate and improve the Service.
Cookies and sessions. We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, which may set cookies on your browser.
We use your information to operate the Service, including to create and manage your account, send you settlement alert emails based on your category preferences, process subscription payments through Stripe, verify your email address, and improve our Service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Alert delivery logs are retained for 12 months.
